The team behind Quintal Mind — building real-time options analytics for Indian markets.
Why we built Quintal Mind
Before Quintal Mind, we were arbitrage and algo traders ourselves — running options books across Nifty, BankNifty and MCX commodities. Every trading day started the same way: stitching together messy Excel sheets to price butterflies, ratio spreads, calendar spreads and cross-strike combinations. Quotes were stale by the time formulas finished recalculating, ATM kept drifting away from where the cursor was, and a single wrong reference in one cell could quietly poison an entire payoff grid.
We tried every shortcut — DDE links, RTD plugins, custom VBA macros, second monitors stacked with broker terminals. Excel was never built for live options pricing on expiry day. Sheets froze, columns lagged, and by the time the spread we wanted appeared, the edge was gone. We were spending more time fighting the tool than reading the market.
So we built the tool we wished we had. Quintal Mind streams live butterfly, ratio and combo spreads directly from the tape, recomputes on every tick, and lays them out the way an options trader actually thinks — by strike, by offset, by wing — not by spreadsheet column. No formulas to maintain, no stale quotes, no missing strikes. Just the numbers you need, the moment you need them.
If you've ever traded options out of Excel, you already know why this exists.
